Ohio State’s newest players have officially received their jersey numbers. New Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields will wear the same number he wore at Georgia, No. 1, while five-star freshman wide receiver Garrett Wilson will wear No. 5, the same number he wore in high school. Five-star defensive end Zach Harrison will wear No. 33 – a number previously made famous at Ohio State by James Laurinaitis – while fellow defensive end Noah Potter will wear No. 97, following in the footsteps of Joey and Nick Bosa.
