COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ryan Day said the Buckeyes were at a full load of 85 scholarships when they finished off their 2019 recruiting class during the first week of February. Since then, Ohio State added two scholarship players. That means two scholarships must go before the start of the season. One addition is graduate transfer offensive lineman Jonah Jackson, a former starter at Rutgers. Day on Wednesday said Jackson will provide important depth on the line, and looking at the current depth chart, it’s reasonable to assume he’ll be right in the thick of the battle to start at left guard once he arrives this summer.
