Ryan Day and the Buckeyes are off to an excellent start with their 2020 recruiting class. The class is ranked No. 6 in the country in the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings. The class includes two Ohioans, offensive linemen Paris Johnson and Jakob James. Day also hit it out of the park with his first 2021 commitment, defensive end Jack Sawyer, also from the state of Ohio. Day has said recruiting the state of Ohio will be a priority and he has backed up those words by doing a great job of visiting schools and talking to coaches all over the Buckeye State during the month of January.
