COLUMBUS, Ohio — During his initial press conference, co-defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley made one promise of what he plans to do at Ohio State. He answered a question that the media, the fans and even his wife wondered about when it came to how defensive backs were being coached. “We are going to work on turning and looking and trying to intercept the football when we’re in man,” a visually annoyed Hafley stated. “Now, there’s certain parts of the field where it’s not good to do that. So, if we don’t do it in a game, it might be a certain part of the field. But I promise you, come and watch individual, we’ll turn and look for the ball.” So far, he’s lived up to this decree in the Buckeyes’ first two spring practice sessions.
