As the 2019 Ohio State Buckeyes football team begins the second week of their spring practice, the 2020 recruiting class picked up a very large commitment, and I mean that literally. As 6-foot-8, 320-pound offensive lineman Trey Leroux has pledged to play for the Buckeyes beginning next fall. The Buckeyes offered the mountain of a prospect on Sunday afternoon, and the o-lineman didn’t waste much time making his decision public. Leroux was in Columbus as his brother competed in the Ohio high school state wrestling championship, a perfect opportunity to get some one-on-one time with head coach Ryan Day. According to recruiting services, Leroux is considered the 38th best player in the state, and is currently rated as a three-star prospect.
