NFL draft profile: Eagles target Dre'Mont Jones of Ohio State

Defensive linemen were one of the more impressive position groups during the 2019 NFL Combine. Dre’Mont Jones, a redshirt junior from Ohio State, only started playing football during his final two years of high school, yet, he was a standout for the Buckeyes and now is expected to be one of the first defensive linemen selected in the upcoming NFL draft. Jones played in 37 games while at Ohio State — totaling 114 tackles and 9.5 sacks.  Compared to other top interior defensive linemen from the Big Ten — Jordan Thompson of Northwestern, Matt Nelson of Iowa, Kevin Givens of Penn State and Mike Barwick Jr. of Indiana — Jones graded out as the best in 2018 according to Pro Football Focus.
