Ohio State: Playoff debate can wait — Buckeyes won’t skip championship celebration

INDIANAPOLIS — Don’t skip the celebration. Ohio State sure didn’t, saving all the handwringing and stressing over the College Football Playoff for later. The Buckeyes won a championship on Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium. Nobody is ever going to take those moments away from them, and they weren’t going to let the uncertainty of what loomed on Sunday ruin the party. “It’s just amazing how important this playoff is and how the whole world revolves around it,” coach Urban Meyer said. “That was a great conference championship game.” There was no rush to move on from it, and there absolutely shouldn’t have been.
