Former Ohio State basketball player Daniel Giddens to visit as potential graduate transfer

COLUMBUS, Ohio — On March 10, Ohio State played its final home game of the season in a 73-67 overtime loss to Wisconsin. For C.J. Jackson, Keyshawn Woods and Joey Lane, it would be the last time they played a game in the Schottenstein Center. They participated in Senior Day festivities prior to the game and were given the chance to address the crowd after. Daniel Giddens was supposed to be a part of that. In 2015, he was a four-star recruit in Thad Matta’s 2015 recruiting class that ranked fifth in the country. In two years that entire class — players who would’ve been seniors this season — was gone. Giddens transferred after one season where he averaged 3.8 points and 3.6 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per game. He left for Alabama, where he’s averaged 3.6 points in 48 games over the past two seasons.
