Willing to learn, Jalen Gill could make an impact for Buckeyes

If you’ve ever spoken to Jaelen Gill, you know he’s not cocky. But there certainly was some confidence in the four-star prospect and the country’s second-ranked all-purpose back, according to the 247Sports Composite, when he arrived at Ohio State. After growing up in a Columbus, Ohio suburb, and being a star in a role very similar to the Buckeyes’ H-Back at Westerville South High School, Gill admits he thought he could come to Ohio State and play right away. That did not happen. Gill caught one pass for 11 yards in the Scarlet and Gray’s fourth game of the season against Tulane last year.
