Ohio State football recruiting: A look at some of the Buckeyes’ top targets and where they could be headed

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s 2020 recruiting class currently holds seven players and ranks fifth in the country. So far, Ryan Day’s first class as the Buckeyes new head coach has a clear emphasis offensive lineman with four commits and three from the state of Ohio. But there is plenty of other position they’ll need to fill. Especially on the defensive end where they are still looking for their first commitment The class is headlined by Paris Johnson Jr. of St. Xavier High School (OH) who’s been committed since last June but still seems to be weighing his options. The Buckeyes’ Student Appreciation Day gave the coaching staff a chance to host 26 high school recruits between the 2020 and 2021 classes. The Buckeyes have offered 175 players over 28 states.
