The Buckeyes are making a strong pitch for some of the top 2020 prospects on the West Coast including cornerback Clark Phillips from La Habra and safety/linebacker Kourt Williams from Bellflower St. John Bosco. Ohio State co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach Jeff Hafley is leading the charge for the Buckeyes. Hafley and the Buckeyes are also working on the California class of 2021 and their latest cornerback offer has gone out to 2021 corner Jamier Johnson from Pasadena (Calif.) Muir. Johnson posted the offer on his Twitter account. “Blessed to receive a scholarship to Ohio State University,” Johnson posted on Twitter.
