
It’s not too early to be thinking about the Class of 2021 in the Big Ten, right? Well, that’s what this post is for. Five of the 14 Big Ten teams have sophomores committed to their programs, and they’re among the 18 teams nationally to have verbal pledges in the Class of 2021. It is more than 19 months before these players will be allowed to sign national letters of intent, and it’s 28 months before they can suit up for their future school. But these prospects will help shape the direction of the Big Ten — who knows what things will look like in 2021 — so it’s worth taking a look at how things are shaking out in the infancy of this recruiting cycle.
