The Buckeyes have eight verbal commitments from the class of 2020. The eight are quarterback Jack Miller, wide receivers Gee Scott Jr. and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, offensive tackles Paris Johnson and Trey Leroux, offensive linemen Luke Wypler and Jakob James who are interior offensive linemen with James projected to play guard while Wypler could play center or guard, and cornerback Lejond Cavazos. Those eight have given the Buckeyes an outstanding start to their 2020 recruiting. They have a class that is currently ranked No. 8 in the country in the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings.
