Buckeyes offer country’s No. 4 strongside defensive end

The Buckeyes are continuing their search for 2020 defensive linemen, both ends and tackles. Last week they reached out to defensive tackle Tre’vonn Rybka from Dickson (Tenn.) Dickson County. Buckeye defensive line coach Larry Johnson let Rybka know that he would be stopping at his school sometime this week. Then on Monday the Buckeyes offered a scholarship to defensive end Jay Hardy from Chattanooga (Tenn.) McCallie School. Hardy posted the offer on his Twitter account on Monday night. “Extremely blessed to receive an offer from The Ohio State University,” Hardy posted on Twitter. The 6-foot-4 and 270-pound Hardy has an impressive list of scholarship offers that in addition to Ohio State includes Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Georgia, Notre Dame, Penn State, Florida, Kentucky, Texas A&M and many others.
