Oklahoma State and Tulsa put down a strong early entry for the game of the NCAA softball tournament Friday. The host Cowgirls pulled out a 13-10, come-from-behind win on the strength of four home runs, including a go-ahead grand slam from Chyenne Factor in the sixth. Samantha Show tacked on Oklahoma State’s final homer in the seventh, and added her patented bat flip. The 23 combined runs tied for third-most in tournament history. Runs were scarce, on the other hand, in fifth-seeded Florida’s opening game. The Gators were hitless through 4? innings before a three-run fifth propelled them to a 3-0 victory over Boston University.
