COLUMBUS, OHIO — Ohio State’s quarterback room has quickly gone from sparse to full of bodies over the last month, and now it will add another. Former Texas A&M quarterback Jagger LaRoe announced on Twitter that he will transfer to Ohio State as a preferred walk-on. He will still have all four years of eligibility after redshirting last season. As a senior at Colleyville Heritage (Texas) High School, LaRoe threw for 3,029 yards and 33 touchdowns. His addition makes him the second walk-on the Buckeyes have added this offseason and the third overall on the roster. With LaRoe, the Buckeyes now have six quarterbacks on their roster, though only three — Justin Fields, Gunnar Hoak and Chris Chugunov — are on scholarship.
