We’re still several months away from the start of the college basketball season — heck, we’re months away from the start of the college football season — but we’re already receiving details on the 2019-20 Ohio State men’s basketball schedule. Unlike in college football, these schedules are not put together years in advance and are released bit by bit. On Tuesday, CBS Sports college basketball insider Jon Rothstein reported the matchups for the 2019 Gavitt Games. According to Rothstein, Ohio State will host Villanova at the Jerome Schottenstein Center. The other matchups in the Gavitt Games, according to Rothstein, are Michigan State at Seton Hall, Creighton at Michigan, Purdue at Marquette, Providence at Northwestern, Penn State at Georgetown, Minnesota at Butler and DePaul at Iowa.
