COLUMBUS, Ohio — Makari Paige of West Bloomfield (Mich.) High School has listed Ohio State in his top seven schools for consideration. The Buckeyes are on a list that includes Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Purdue. The four-star recruit is currently rated as the No. 239 overall player and the No. 5 safety in the class. He currently has 21 offers. Paige will be in Columbus for an official visit on Friday, June 21, as part of a huge recruiting weekend for the Buckeyes. That weekend they are expected to host 11 players from the class of 2020 including five-star commit Paris Johnson Jr. of Princeton (Ohio) High School. The 6-foot-3, 182 pound Paige is expected to be in Kentucky for an official on Wednesday.
