Fairfield (Ohio) running back JuTahn McClain was in Ohio Stadium on Oct. 13 as the Buckeyes defeated Minnesota 30-14. It was a very exciting day for McClain as before the game Urban Meyer offered him a scholarship. McClain was back in Ohio Stadium in late November as the Buckeyes defeated Michigan 62-39. McClain returned in late March for one of the Buckeyes’ spring practice sessions. “It went really well,” McClain said at the time. “I was with (Fairfield head) coach (Jason) Krause. The practice was way different than a high school practice. The tempo was very high, there wasn’t a lot of walking around.” However, on Saturday night McClain announced a commitment to Kentucky.
