COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s football program just hosted its biggest recruiting weekend of the summer, hosting a handful of targets. The Buckeyes hosted 14 Class of 2020 players for visits while also trying to establish momentum in the 2021 class as well. They hosted a Backyard Bash and Barbecue that was open to recruits and families, but one moment was caught on camera by a family member of OSU 2020 commit Jaxon Smith-Njigba of Rockwall (Texas) High School. Former Ohio State wide receiver Parris Campbell made an appearance and gave an emotional speech on the Michigan rivalry. The recent second-round draft pick of the Indianapolis Colts discussed his 5-0 record against the Wolverines, including a 62-39 win last season to end the Wolverines’ hopes of a Big Ten Championship or a spot in the College Football Playoff.
