Ohio State QB commit Jack Miller discusses injury, plus why he’s all-in on the Buckeyes — and cold weather


FRISCO, Texas – Relax Ohio State football fans. Buckeyes quarterback commit Jack Miller threw during Saturday’s first workout at the Elite 11 quarterback competition, then skipped the evening session because of an injury. But he explained his injury is nothing serious and should not cause any long-term issues. “Basically, it’s a strain in my lat,” he said. “It can heal honestly anywhere from a week to a month, complete recovery with rest. So, it’s really just different people feel different ways. I’m going to take some time off, probably around a month off from throwing footballs (after the Elite 11) and see how I feel. I think I’ll be 100 percent ready to go (in the fall).” Miller was clearly uncomfortable while throwing Saturday, but he still showed plenty of zip and touch on a variety of throws.
