Ohio State football: Cincinnati tight end commits to Buckeyes

Joe Royer is the newest Ohio State football commit, announcing Tuesday night he intends to be a Buckeye next season.  A three-star tight end from Cincinnati Elder, Royer is the No. 11 player in Ohio and the No. 13 tight end in the country according to 247Sports Composite rankings.  Royer was second in the GCL South in receiving yards last season and finished his junior campaign with 32 catches for 617 yards and five touchdowns.  Adding Royer moved Ohio State’s class to No. 4 in the nation.
