COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State will name its starting quarterback on Monday, and maybe its captains. Decisions are looming, at every position. It’s going to be Justin Fields as the quarterback. That is a formality. “Justin is practicing at a high level now,” Ryan Day said Wednesday, “and had a nice couple good days here.” But the realities at several positions are far more intriguing. The Buckeyes needs their starters in place by the time they start their game week of practice for Florida Atlantic, so they’re about 11 days from having to decide who’s going to play.
