COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football has won 41-straight games against in-state opponents, and that isn’t expected to come to an end on Saturday. The Buckeyes will face Cincinnati for the first time since 2014 in what will serve as a homecoming for head coach Luke Fickell. The former Ohio State player spent all but two years of his coaching career — he was a defensive line coach at Akron from 2000-01 — with the Buckeyes before taking the job with the Bearcats in 2017. In two seasons he’s compiled a 16-10 record including 8-8 n the AAC. The Bearcats come to Columbus after a season-opening win against UCLA.
