Former Ohio State football safety Malik Hooker snags one-handed interception | Buckeye Breakfast


COLUMBUS, Ohio – Former Ohio State football safety Malik Hooker, now with the Indianapolis Colts, opened the 2019 NFL season with what could stand up as one of the best interceptions of the season. The Colts trailed 24-16 with under nine minutes to play in the fourth quarter, and the Los Angeles Chargers were driving for another score. On second-and-goal at the 7, Philip Rivers passed into the end zone. Hooker came across the middle, snagged the ball out of the air with one hand, and took off in the opposite direction. He was pushed out of bounds around the 20 yard line. However, that play helped reverse momentum, and the Colts forced overtime before eventually losing 30-24.
