ESPN ranks the 150 best teams in college football history: Buckeye Breakfast


COLUMBUS, Ohio — ESPN has taken the opportunity to ranked the top football teams in NCAA history with this season being its 150th season. The highest ranked Big Ten team on the list is Ohio State’s 1968 team coached by Woody Hayes at No. 13. Hayes led that team to a 10-0 record which included a 50-14 win over Michigan and a Rose Bowl victory over USC, 27-16. That team featured College Football Hall of Famers Rex Kern at quarterback and Jack Tatum at defensive back, 1970 Outland/Lombardi winner Jim Stillwagon and running back John Brockington, though offensive lineman Dave Foley was the only All-American that season.
