Ohio State won't suffer inexplicable road loss with this running game, defense

Ohio State missed the College Football Playoff the last two seasons, each time because of an inexplicable road loss. That did not happen Saturday in a 51-10 blowout against Indiana. In fact, the Buckeyes showed enough with the running game and defense to suggest that inexplicable road hiccup isn’t going to happen at all in 2019. The running game and defense failed at Iowa in 2017 and Purdue in 2018, and those Big Ten road losses were the difference between a Playoff berth and New Year’s Day Six bowl.
