Ohio State football considered playoff team in ESPN’s recent bowl projections: Buckeye Breakfast


COLUMBUS, Ohio — In its third edition of ESPN’s college football bowl projections Kyle Bonagura has predicted that Ohio State football will be among the four playoff teams this season. This is the third-straight week that the Buckeyes have been included alongside Alabama, Clemson and Georgia as the final four teams. Though Mark Schlabach, who’s projections are also included, lists Oklahoma in place of Ohio State. The Crimson Tide and the Tigers remain the only two unanimous picks expected to make it. In its playoff predictor, ESPN gives Ohio State a 44 percent chance to make the playoff and a 8 percent chance to win the national championship. Those odds trail only Clemson’s 78 percent and 28 percent along with Alabama’s 74 percent and 32 percent.
