Jeff Potrykus, Lou Saldivar OFFENSE Sophomore Justin Fields, who transferred from Georgia and was given a waiver by the NCAA to play immediately, has given the Buckeyes what they needed at quarterback. The 6-foot-3, 223-pounder can make plays from the pocket, on designed rollouts or if he decides to run for yardage. He leads all Big ten quarterbacks in touchdown passes (22) and has just one interception in 116 attempts. That came in the Buckeyes’ sixth game, a 34-10 victory over Michigan State. Fields has thrown a touchdown pass every 5.3 attempts. Ohio State has allowed only 14 sacks, the fourth-lowest total in the Big Ten.
