How is historic underdog Rutgers approaching Ohio State game?


Rutgers is 0-6 in the Big Ten this season with three shutout losses and has been outscored 245-24 by its league opponents. And yet it still can, and almost assuredly will, get worse. The Scarlet Knights are a 51-point betting underdog for Saturday’s home game against No. 2 Ohio State at SHI Stadium in Piscataway (3:30 p.m., BTN). It is believed to be the biggest point spread for a Big Ten intra-conference game in history, and there is plenty of reason to believe it is right on the nose.
