Well, first he had to ask. And then he had to ask again. He asked in the summer. He asked after the Wisconsin win. The player who is in the discussion of the best pure athlete on the OSU roster wanted to play both ways. The tight end wanted another shot at defensive end. “It’s always a 50-50 chance,” Berry said of continuing to ask about his quest to double up in a game. “It’s like when you ask your mom, ‘Can I stay the night at my friend’s house?’ You don’t know.
