COLUMBUS, Ohio – The College Football Playoff is easier to handicap now that we have some real insight into how the selection committee feels about this field. For week two, discussion comes down to two questions: Does LSU jump over Ohio State for the No. 1 spot, and who deserves the No. 4 spot and the potential semifinal berth which accompanies it? LSU Some speculated LSU might be No. 1 in the initial rankings due to its marquee victories to that point: at Texas (not in the first CFP Top 25), and home against No. 10 Florida and No. 11 Auburn.
