
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football is going to play its most talent-equated game of the season when it faces Clemson in the College Football Playoff. The Buckeyes are 13-0 and have dominated the majority of the teams on its schedule. A three-game stretch against Penn State, Michigan and Wisconsin may have shown that they’re not flawless. But was it enough that the Buckeyes should try something new against a team much better than anyone else they’ve faced. The flip side is that Clemson also didn’t have anyone near the level of Ohio State on its regular season schedule. Both teams are coming into this game with the understanding that they won’t be facing an opponent in need of some extra boost to give itself an edge as the underdog.
