Does Ohio State football’s 2020 signing class have the right in-state mix?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Of the 24 players in Ohio State football’s 2020 signing class, only eight come from Ohio. That makes a 2-to-1 ratio favoring national prospects. By contrast to the in-state haul, the Buckeyes took seven players combined from Arizona, California, Texas and Washington. The in-state signees include Ohio’s top-ranked player — offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. — but only one other player in the 247 Sports composite’s top 300.
