Defending Dow Tennis Classic champ brings Ohio State love to Midland


MIDLAND, MI – Caty McNally isn’t a football fan, but the 2019 Super Bowl will always have a special place in her heart. It’s a place that she’ll always treasure, even after learning Tom Brady played for the University of Michigan. McNally returns to Midland to defend her Dow Tennis Classic singles championship from 2019. The tournament, held at the Greater Midland Tennis Center through Sunday, began Monday with the qualifying draw. “Last year was special,” McNally said. “It was the same day as the Super Bowl, and I remember winning and going to watch the Super Bowl with friends and just kind of chilling.
