Ohio State is going to be without DJ Carton for the foreseeable future. It was announced last Thursday that the freshman point guard will take time away from the program as he battles some mental health issues that are bigger than basketball. How long Carton will miss is unclear and the Buckeye program will not rush him back. But basketball in Columbus and around the Big Ten isn’t going to stop and the Scarlet and Gray must figure out how to play without one of their top ball handlers and distributors. Saturday’s win against Indiana was the first game without Carton and although the contest came just two days after the point guard left the program, it gives us an idea of how Ohio State will look going forward.
