Could Ohio State basketball earn a top-four seed in the Big Ten Tournament?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball easily handled a trip to Lincoln in with a 75-54 win over Nebraska. It’s the second time this season the Buckeyes have won a Big Ten game by at least 20 points with the first coming in the Big Ten opener against Penn State. OSU was expected to win this game with Nebraska having lost 12-straight games. Now they’ll get back to regularly scheduled programming with three games that are expected to be competitive to close out the season. That starts with a second matchup with Michigan, who will come to Columbus following an 81-74 loss to Wisconsin. Once again, the two are in similar situations. Unlike the first meeting, they aren’t looking to turn their seasons around. Instead, each is trying to work their way into potentially landing a top-four seed in the Big Ten Tournament.
