INDIANAPOLIS — Former Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah pulled out of position drills at Sunday’s NFL Scouting Combine after landing awkwardly during a drill. Okudah made a leaping catch of a pass during a drill in which players backpedaled, changed directions, then tracked a ball downfield. He landed hard on his upper back. According to NFL Network’s Kimberly Jones on the broadcast, Okudah’s fall affected him in the head and neck area. NFL Network reported Okudah posted a 41-inch vertical — best among cornerbacks — and a 135-inch broad jump. “The guys were saying to him, ‘Are you out,’ meaning out of drills,” Jones said. “(Okudah) said, “I’m not going out like that.” Okudah earlier ran the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds, which ranked 12th among the 27 cornerbacks who participated on Sunday.
