
COLUMBUS, Ohio — As the wave of college and pro athletic cancellations had only begun to rise on Wednesday, Ohio State football’s coaches were grounded through April 20. Similarly, players cannot make official or unofficial vists to campus for the same period. This is not a catastrophe for the Buckeyes, since a) they have already laid a 10-man foundation for the 2021 class that currently ranks No. 1 nationally and b) every other program will likely be in the same boat. Yet as strong as Ohio State started in 2021 recruiting, more work remains. A couple of positions of immediate need remain unaddressed.
