Well, the Ohio State Buckeyes just got some news that might cheer you up as the No. 4 cornerback in the country Jakailin Johnson just announced on Twitter that he is “1000%” committed to play for the Buckeyes. The 59th ranked player in the country officially joined the OSU 2021 recruiting class, and adds to an already remarkable group of talent. Kerry Coombs (natch) was his primary recruiter and held off other suitors like Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, USC, Texas A&M, and a total of two dozen other offers. Johnson is now the fifth highest rated player in the Buckeyes’ 11-player ‘21 class behind Jack Sawyer (2nd), Kyle McCord (22nd), Donovan Jackson (36th), and Marvin Harrison Jr. (57th).
