
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football is losing a valuable behind-the scenes member of its coaching staff. Fordham announced Friday that it has hired Kenny Anunike as defensive line coach. Anunike spent the past two seasons as a graduate assistant working with the Buckeyes’ defensive line. During those summers, when defensive line coach Larry Johnson went out recruiting, Anunike took over what he called “D-line school.” His energy made a palpable impact on the young players in those rooms. “His biggest thing is energy,” defensive end Zach Harrison said last year. “It’s hard to come into practice and not match him. He’s yelling and screaming and his voice is all intense. You can’t be lazy about it because he just brings it out of you.
