
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2021 recruiting class already includes commitments from the nation’s top-ranked guard and a four-star in-state tackle. The Buckeyes remain in the hunt for another talented tackle. Lititz (Pennsylvania) Warwick’s Nolan Rucci included OSU in the top nine teams he released on Monday. Rucci, the No. 1 recruit in Pennsylvania and No. 15 overall in the 247 Sports composite, also included Alabama, Clemson, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Stanford and Wisconsin. The 6-8, 289-pound Rucci has held an OSU offer since January 2019. His father, Todd, played at Penn State prior to an eight-year NFL career. His brother, Hayden, is a tight end at Wisconsin. Richfield tackle Ben Christman, ranked right outside the national top 100, committed to Ohio State last June.
