
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State defensive coordinator Kerry Coombs knows about turning speculative college prospects into first-round NFL Draft prospects. That may be too high a ceiling to place on the Buckeyes’ newest commit — Bowling Green (Kentucky) South Warren athlete Jantzen Dunn. The four-star prospect plays both sides of the ball in high school but projects as a defensive back for the Buckeyes. Multiple players Coombs brought to OSU as lower-rated recruits have exceeded expectations. Damon Arnette Jr. was ranked No. 653 in the 2015 class and should be a second-day NFL Draft pick later this week. Denzel Ward could not crack the national top 250 in the same class and left three years later as the No. 5 overall pick.
