What Ohio State football’s J.K. Dobbins brings to the NFL


COLUMBUS, Ohio –J.K. Dobbins spent all of spring football and fall camp correctly referring to his sophomore season for Ohio State football as a failure. The best way to make up for that is by breaking Eddie George’s 25-year-old school record for rushing yards in a single season while being the lead running back for the Buckeyes. Dobbins ran for at least 100 yards in all but three games his junior season — two of which he didn’t play in the second half — being one of four players to run for 2,000 yards and 20 touchdowns. Dobbins is the only player in Ohio State history to rush for at least 1,000 yards in his freshman, sophomore and junior seasons.
