
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State entered Thursday night’s opening round of the 2020 NFL Draft tied for USC for most first-round picks all-time. Thanks to two sure-fire picks and one big surprise, the Buckeyes now have some breathing room on that leaderboard. Chase Young, Jeff Okudah and Damon Arnette — three starters from Ohio State’s top-ranked 2019 defense — were selected in the first round. The Buckeyes have turned out multiple first-round picks in each of the past five drafts and 14 overall first-round selections since 2016. That also left some talented Buckeyes waiting to hear their names called, led by All-American running back J.K. Dobbins and versatile offensive lineman Jonah Jackson.
