COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State stars Chase Young and Jeff Okudah took direct paths along straight lines from their recruiting commitments to the NFL Draft. In three years, Young went from the No. 7 recruit in the 2017 class to the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Okudah went from the No. 8 recruit to the No. 3 pick. Easy, right? Among the top 50 players in the 2017 recruiting rankings from 247sports.com, 15 were drafted in the first three rounds by the NFL on Thursday and Friday.
