WASHINGTON, D.C. — Ohio State football star Chase Young terrorized Big Ten defenses for three seasons with a No. 2 on his chest. That number seemed fitting with then Washington Redskins selected the defensive end No. 2 overall in last week’s 2020 NFL Draft. In the NFL, however, defensive linemen can only wear numbers 50-79 and 0-99. So Young opted for a number at the farthest end of the line from his Buckeye days.
