How the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes football schedules fit together for fans of both teams


COLUMBUS, Ohio — When the Cleveland Browns schedule is released it goes straight into my old man planner as I put pen to paper to plan out the fall. Because now a full football season has taken shape, pro and college, the Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. With the full understanding that coronavirus could jumble every football plan, and with the understanding that plenty of people root for the Browns or the Buckeyes but not both, here’s how the football season is scheduled to fit together for those who will spend both Saturdays and Sundays rooting for the squads from Columbus and Cleveland. Saturday, Sept. 5: Bowling Green at Ohio State College owns this week before the NFL starts, yet the Buckeyes almost always open with a stinker, saving their best non-conference game for Week 2 or 3.
