Dekel Crowdus, Ohio State football 2021 target, commits to Kentucky: Buckeye Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football target Dekel Crowdus of Frederick Douglass High Schoo has committed to Kentucky. He is the first four-star commit for the Wildcats’ 2021 recruiting class as the No. 246 overall player and the No. 44 wide receiver. He is also the first player with offers from both Kentucky and Ohio State to choose the Wildcats. Crowdus’ decision comes after listing the Buckeyes among his top 10 in March along with Baylor, Louisville, Michigan, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia Tech. Crowdus spent the first two seasons of his high school career playing in his hometown of Lexington, Kentucky, at Frederick Douglass High School, where he totaled 1,296 yards and 17 touchdowns.
