Ohio State football spreads message: ‘This is not white vs. black. This is everyone against racism.’

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football players have individually shared messages of frustration, hope, resistance and encouragement during the growing unrest following the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis. With Franklin County continuing its curfew Monday night and more protests and riots occurring across the country, the Buckeyes came together for another message. A total of 16 Buckeye players and coach Ryan Day read a message in a black-and-white video posted to Twitter. The clip featured players of all races and backgrounds coming together to denounce racism. “As a team we’ve committed ourselves to fight for change, and now we’re asking you to join us,” Day said. The video ended with #BlackLivesMatter and #FightForChange. Watch the full video posted above.
